The TEMPO®® system performs quality indicator enumeration in food products within your laboratory. Fully automated and connected to your LIMS, it guarantees objective results and ensures data traceability.

 

Quality in enumeration

Based on a simple technology, TEMPO®® provides accurate results and requires very short preparation time. It demonstrates high flexibility in terms of throughput and can suit every lab’s needs.

It requires 2 ergonomic stations to perform the enumeration :

 

Preparation station to inoculate TEMPO®® cards with your food samples and culture media

  • TEMPO®® culture media allow rapid bacterial growth and contain a fluorescent indicator
  • The TEMPO®®  card is a miniaturization of the Most Probable Number method that comprises 16*3 tubes in a single consumable
  • Reading station to evaluate the number of CFU/g in the initial product
  • Based on the number and size of the positive wells (fluorescent or non-fluorescent), the TEMPO®® instrument uses statistical methods to calculate the number of microorganisms present in the initial sample
